How Does It Work?
All participants will follow a three-phase process:
1. Application
- Customer identifies opportunity and contacts Efficiency Nova Scotia to confirm eligibility
- Customer submits New Construction application
- Initial “kick off” meeting is held with the customer and Efficiency Nova Scotia to agree upon an appropriate implementation plan
2. Design Development
- Efficiency Nova Scotia representative becomes a part of design team
- Energy saving measures are identified and analyzed
- Customer submits required documentation (plans, specifications and costs)
- Final incentive estimate and implementation package is agreed upon
3. Implementation
- Project Development Agreement (PDA) is executed
- Customer advises Efficiency Nova Scotia of progress
- Efficiency Nova Scotia conducts site visits
- Efficiency Nova Scotia pays implementation incentive
