To get started, contact Efficiency Nova Scotia at sbes@efficiencyns.ca or 1-877-999-6035.
- Complete the Small Business Consent Form or the Municipal Utilities Consent Form and email to sbes@efficiencyns.ca or fax to (902) 470-3599.
- Efficiency Nova Scotia will confirm your eligibility.
- If eligible, you will be contacted by a local contractor to schedule an onsite assessment to identify areas for lighting efficiency upgrades.

After you agree to proceed with the recommended upgrades, you will receive a full-service package of lighting improvements. This may include:
- replacing older fluorescent lights
- replacing inefficient incandescent lights and fixtures
- exit sign upgrades
- exterior lighting upgrades
- installing efficient lighting controls
