Rebate Summary

Rebates

Save on the cost of the new equipment and installation. In addition, save up to $3,000 on the cost of removal and disposal of your old electric baseboards and the installation of a new central heating system.

To read the chart:

  1. Find the heat type you wish to convert to in the first column and follow the row across.
  2. The minimum efficiency levels accepted for space heating and hot water are outlined in columns two and three.

  3. Rebates are outlined in the next four columns.
                      a) To calculate your equipment rebate:
                                i) Add up the flat rebates (A+B) that apply to the project
ii) Add up the total cost of your equipment and installation, including HST and multiply it by the maximum rebate % in column six
iii) The lower amount of those two numbers will be your standard equipment & installation rebate
                      b) If you install a new central heating system and remove all electric heating, you will also be rebated for that cost, up to a maximum of $3,000

  4. Your total rebates will be the standard equipment & installation rebate plus the additional installation rebate.
