Exposed Floor Insulation

Exposed floors – floors exposed to outdoor temperatures because they are laid over garages, cantilevered bays, or in homes with post foundations – are often poorly insulated.

Exposed floors may leak air, feel cold all winter, and at their worst, have zero insulation value. If they contain plumbing, the pipes may freeze: an expensive problem.

Improving insulation can help you stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, keeping your home comfortable, quiet, and energy efficient.
