No. Only heating systems listed on our website are included in the program. You can call us at 1-877-999-6035 if you're unsure and need confirmation.
Yes, but the rental property building must meet the criteria in our terms and conditions. Applicants must be the owner but don't need to live there. If you're installing heat pumps in more than three units at once, please contact us at 1-877-999-6035 so we can direct you to the best program option.
Rebates can only be paid for qualifying installs in existing homes that are at least six months past the occupancy permit.
We don't provide rebates on replacement heat pumps, regardless of whether or not the old heat pump was working. If you're replacing an existing wood/pellet burning system, we require documentation from your contractor or insurance company stating that the unit being replaced was non-functioning at the time of replacement.
Not if your cottage is only used seasonally and is on a seasonal rate code with your electric utility. Year-round cottages that are heated throughout the heating season will be considered for rebates.
