HomeWarming Eligibility Criteria
We can help with HomeWarming upgrades if:
- Your home hasn’t been in HomeWarming or the Low Income Homeowner Service before (homes are only eligible once a lifetime).
- Your income is under the income levels in the chart below.
- You own a single-unit home located in Nova Scotia and can provide proof of ownership. Please note: Row houses do qualify, but condos, multi-unit buildings, and rentals do not.
- Your home is your primary, year-round residence, and you don’t plan to sell in the near future.

Based on Low Income Cut-offs (LICOs) figures set by Statistics Canada. The maximum household income is the amount on Line 236 of your most recent Notice of Assessment from Canada Revenue Agency.
