I didn’t have to lift a finger. A few weeks later, I received the $30 cheque in my mailbox. It was too easy!

Bill Camp, a homeowner in Halifax County recently retired his retro 16 year old salmon coloured fridge, which was still functioning but had become more of an energy drain on his home than it was worth. He was pleased with how effortless it was when the Efficiency Nova Scotia team arrived to retrieve his fridge, and he received a cheque in the mail a few weeks later.

Annual Savings: Bill received a cheque for $30 in the mail a few weeks after the pickup.

We couldn’t have asked for an easier process to get rid of our old fridge and buy the new one.

Antigonish couple Ed and Gail Brown realized it was time to replace their 12 year old fridge with a more energy efficient model. They recycled their old fridge, having it picked up for free through Efficiency Nova Scotia, and received $30 for it. They purchased a new 18 cubic foot Frigidaire with an instant in-store savings of $75, and now save money on energy bills every year.

Annual Savings: The couple received $30 for their old fridge and save over $45 annually on bills.
